Food safety,
finally for everyone

From milk and paneer to honey, ghee, and drinking water, millions of families consume adulterated or contaminated food every day without knowing it. We exist to change that, one family at a time.

The Problem We're Solving

Urea in milk. Starch in paneer. Sugar syrup in shahad (honey). Coal tar in ghee. These aren't rare incidents — they're a daily reality. GFI exists to build awareness, access, and accountability in India's food system across all daily essentials, including water.

Common adulterants
hiding in your daily food

From urea in milk to heavy metals in water — these are the most common adulterants FSSAI has documented in Indian food items, and what they do to your body.

Urea (Milk)

Raises apparent protein content. Causes kidney damage, gastritis and long-term organ failure.

Starch (Paneer)

Used to increase weight and volume. Causes severe digestive issues and is harmful for diabetics.

Sugar Syrup (Shahad)

Cheap sugars mimic honey. Leads to obesity, sudden blood sugar spikes, and fatty liver disease.

Vanaspati (Ghee)

Mixed to reduce production cost. High in trans-fats, increasing the risk of heart attacks and stroke.

Heavy Metals (Water)

Industrial runoff contaminates drinking water. Can cause neurological damage and stunted growth.

Lead Chromate (Spices)

Used to give turmeric a bright yellow color. Highly toxic, leading to anemia and nerve damage.

Detergent (Milk)

Used to emulsify synthetic milk. Causes gastrointestinal damage and hormonal disruption.

Synthetic Milk

A fabricated emulsion of water, oil, urea & detergent. Combines multiple toxic harms.

Built on
trust & science

Everything we publish, test, and ship is grounded in verified science — aligned with FSSAI, NDRI, and peer-reviewed research.

FSSAI-Aligned Protocols

Every test in our kit follows FSSAI DART and NDRI laboratory manual standards — the same methods used by food safety officers.

NABL Partner Labs

Professional lab tests are conducted through NABL-accredited partner laboratories — not third-party aggregators. Results you can trust legally.

Community First

KYF knowledge is and always will be free. Our revenue from GoodFoodLabs funds the awareness mission — not shareholders.
